KEN MARCUS IS A 20 SOMETHING YEAR OLD SELF-TAUGHT ARTIST WHO LIVES IN NORTH EAST PENNSYLVANIA. HE ALSO GOES BY THE NAME XYNPHIX. HIS PAINTING TECHNIQUE AND SUBJECT MATTER REPRESENT A WIDE RANGE, TURNING PSYCOLOGICAL UNBALANCE INTO ELECTRICAL VISIONS OF THE HUMAN ELEMENT, MODONNAS AND MONSTERS. GOD, MAN, DESPIRATION AND LOVE, TREADING ON A NARROW LINE OF CONCIOUSNESS WHERE REALITY IS A VANTAGE POINT IN CONSTANT FLUX. MOST OF THESE PAINTINGS ARE INFLUENCED BY REOCURRING DREAMS, MENTAL DISTURBANCE, INSOMNIA, HAUNTING CHILDHOOD MEMORIES AND LACK OF CONCEPT OF TIME AND DATE.
